Not a single tear
You let shed for him
The one you had lost
At long last was unveiled
Had never been yours
Words of affection
Uttered in abundance
But words remain words
Only of sweet nothings
When not from the heart
And the eyes revealed otherwise
When there's no affection
That binds his heart to yours
So easily, with no remorse
So readily, with no recourse
He breached the trust
And broke your heart
